Biography
Morteza Tasbihi was a carpenter based in Tehran who had been in the workforce since the age of 12. He was shot and killed by security forces of the Islamic Republic on January 9, 2026. He is honored as a 'Javidnam' (eternal name) within the Iranian protest movement.
مرتضی تسبیحی نجار اهل تهران بود که از سن ۱۲ سالگی مشغول به کار شده بود. او در تاریخ ۱۹ دیماه ۱۴۰۴ با شلیک گلوله مأموران جمهوری اسلامی جان باخت. نام او به عنوان یکی از جاویدنامان جنبش اعتراضی ایران به ثبت رسیده است.
